Hermione Granger is, with Ron Weasley, Harry’s best friend. She is the same age as Harry. They meet for the first time on the train to Hogwarts. She is a very bright student, always the first to answer the teachers’ questions. She is very clever and hardworking . She often uses her knowledge to help Harry in difficult situations, but she also sometimes annoys the other pupils because they think she is arrogant. She likes books and does a lot of research in the library.
Her parents are not wizards, but they are very proud of their daughter.
