The place where I live
I live in England,
in the
part of the country, famous for its beautiful
and rolling hills. Specifically, I’m in the
of Hampshire which is not far from the southern coast. Hampshire is famous for its ancient
, national parks, and coastal areas.
In Hampshire, I’m in the New Forest district. I live in the village of Lyndhurst. It’s often
the ‘capital of the New Forest’ because it’s a
place for visitors, but it’s still quite small and
, with a population of just over 3,000 people.
My house is a cozy
cottage on a quiet little street called Church Lane, just a
from the village. The address is 23 Church Lane. The cottage has a traditional
with white-painted windows. There’s a small
with a few rose
and a larger garden at the back, perfect for enjoying the sunshine in summer.
From my living room, I can see the spire of St. Michael and All Angels Church
the trees, and the local
is only five-minutes away. Inside, the house has four bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, a
and a
in the sitting room.
The village is very
and quiet, but we're not too far from Southampton, which is only a
away, and Bournemouth which is about 18
to the west.
