Formerly known as Siam, this country 2,000 miles of coastline. The most commonly spoken language in Thailand is Thai and there are over 63 million in this Asian country.
Thailand can be separated several regions based geography; however the climate remains relatively similar throughout the country. This tropical country sees very high heat and humidity at times and temperatures in central Thailand on average do not fall below 85 degrees.
The terrain in northern Thailand is and is also populated by many rivers. The North East is typified by plateaus and low hills. The area is not particulary and thin grass covers much of the land. Central Thailand also has a fairly flat terrain, however this region is far more than the North East.
The south lacks large rivers but mountains and tropical forests are abundant.
