In the United States when I was in middle school, I did lots of before and after school activities. For after-school sports, I used to play basketball in the fall and tennis in the spring. We would usually have practice a few times a week and games or matches once a week in the evenings. I used to be in an after-school club called “Honors Society.” We would meet once a week right after school and do volunteer projects in the community. My last year in middle school, I was in jazz band, which was an extra class 3 mornings a week, early in the morning before school. I played the saxophone for one year when I was in school. Outside of school activities, I used to hang out with my friends. I used to go over to my friends’ houses after school and hang out. We’d watch TV or work on homework together, cook and eat snacks, or sometimes play games or go on the computer.
