Tell me about your holiday in New York City (level B1)

John: Hi, Sarah! Welcome back! How was your trip to New York City?

Sarah: Hi, John! It was absolutely fantastic. New York is such a vibrant and bustlinganimée city.

John: How long did you stay?

Sarah: We were there for five days, but honestly, it wasn’t enough. There’s so much to see!

John: How was your flightvol?

Sarah: It went smoothlysans problème, thoughbien que the eight hours felt a bit tiring. The airline was great, though, and the staff were very attentiveattentionnés.

John: That’s good to hear. Was the ticket expensive?

Sarah: Well, it cost around 500 dollars. Not the cheapest, but for a direct flight, it wasn’t too bad.

John: Where did you stay?

Sarah: We stayed in a nice hotel in Manhattan. The room was small but comfortable, and the location was very convenientpratique.

John: How much did it cost?

Sarah: About 200 dollars a night, which is pretty standard for Manhattan.

John: How did you get around the city?

Sarah: Mostlyprincipalement by subway. We bought a weekly metro card, which was a good value for money.

John: What did you do there? Did you visit any famous attractions?

Sarah: Oh, absolutely! We visited the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Times Square, and the Empire State Building. We also walked along the Brooklyn Bridge, which was incredible.

John: What was the highlightmeilleur moment of your trip?

Sarah: It has to be the Statue of Liberty. Seeing it up close was so impressiveimpressionnant. The view from the top was breathtakingà couper le souffle.

John: Was there anything disappointingdécevant?

Sarah: Yes, the linesfiles d'attente at the Empire State Building were incredibly long. We waited over two hours, which was épuisant.

Sarah: Oh, at least 200! Everywhere you turn in New York, there’s something worth capturing.
